Researcher and science communicator
I am a researcher dedicated to transforming complex topics into engaging narratives. I have received multiple awards for my science projects and films. Additionally, I create websites and populate social media channels with captivating scientific content aimed at both academic and general audiences.
Education
My career began with a Bachelor's degree in Oceanography and a Master's degree in Geophysics, both obtained in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I then pursued a PhD in Geophysics at ETH Zurich, Switzerland, from 2004 to 2009.
Professional Experience
My journey has taken me to different countries — Brazil, England, Australia, Switzerland, France and Germany. Currently, I’m working as a science communicator at ISTerre in Grenoble, France.

I have actively contributed as a member of international committees focused on research, science communication, and diversity.

I served for 12 years as the head of the Brazilian magnetic observatories, overseeing both scientific and administrative tasks. In every project I undertake, I manage the administrative aspects to ensure successful execution.
